New York, WFS) - The implementation of the Beijing Platform for Action (the outcome of Fourth World Conference of Women in 1995) was up for review at the 49th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, between February 28 and March 11, 2005.
At a forum organised by the Permanent Mission of the Philippines to the United Nations, non-governmental organisations, the Mindanao Commission on Women and Asia-Pacific Women Watch, speakers from Afghanistan, Cambodia and the Philippines spoke on `Gender Issues in Post-conflict Situations' in their countries.
