IN THE ILL-LIT CORNER of Shadyside's Club Havana, signature miner's light on his forehead like a record-crate spelunker, "Brother Mike" Robertson exudes a blue-collar methodology to his deejaying. But despite his almost brutish way of working a record, if it's laborious to pull those chunky 4/4 beats and twist those soaring melodies out of Mateo & Matos or Jon Cutler tracks, it's a labor of love. One which Robertson -- who spins under the nom de disc DC Space -- doesn't miss the opportunity to conduct, every Thursday night now for almost four years and counting.
