BREASTFEEDING
National Breastfeeding Awareness Week (NBAW) 2005 will take place from 8 to 14 May 2005. The campaign aims to encourage new mothers to breastfeed and has a particular focus on young mothers and those who are least likely to breastfeed. As well as looking at the benefits of breastfeeding for both the mother and baby, the campaign will explore the supportive relationships many mothers can have with their partners, relatives and friends, and specifically the attitudes men have to breastfeeding.
