E-learning is now accepted as an essential feature of training delivery and its usage is going to double over the next three years. These are the findings of a survey carried out by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). It says it has carried out the survey to coincide with the fifth anniversary of the term e-learning being adopted.
CIPD claims that more practical work needs to be done by organisations on the implementation of e-learning to ensure support from line-managers and to develop a structure that meets the needs of both the organisation and the employees.
