Cumberland County officials again are showing their dissatisfaction with a regional organization, this time yanking financial support from the Capital Region Economic Development Corp. (CREDC).
In a strongly worded e-mail to state officials and CREDC board members, County Commissioner Gary Eichelberger lashed out at CREDC, claiming Cumberland wasn't getting enough out of its investment in the organization. The e-mail included some caustic statements directed toward David Black, president and chief executive officer of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and CREDC. Eichelberger also issued a formal statement May 25 at a meeting of CREDC's executive committee.
