One man in every six will get prostate cancer during his lifetime. Cancer of the prostate is one of the most common types of cancer found in American men and the second leading cause of cancer death in men. It is estimated that this year in the United States nearly 250,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer and more than 30,000 men will die from this disease. This article presents an overview of prostate cancer and discusses risks, symptoms, and tests for the disease. There are also helpful tips for prevention.
