Arbor Crest Wine Cellars, of Spokane Valley, plans to open an off-site tasting room later this year at River Park Square downtown.
Jim van Loben Sels, co-owner and general manager of Arbor Crest, says the company has leased a small space for the tasting room in the Atrium Cafes, on the mall's third floor, between the AMC Entertainment Inc. theater complex's ticket-sales area and a Subway sandwich shop.
The tasting room will have a wine bar and some retail space and will be designed to have the feel of a tasting room at a winery, van Loben Sels says. He says the winery will offer samples of its wine there and sell bottles of wine to customers, who then can open the bottle and imbibe at the ...
