SCHOOL NURSING
The second annual school nursing conference was held at the Queen's University, Belfast in Septemher. The conference was organised by the CPHVA and supported by the Queen's University, the University of Ulster and the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety in Northern Ireland under the auspices of the Northern Ireland Community Nursing Network. Briege Coyle, CPHVA professional officer jor Northern Irelan reports.
Once again Northern Ireland's school nurses came out in force, (around 80 per cent of school nurses in Northern Ireland attended the conference), eager to listen and voice their opinions on the future role of school nursing.
