Ivy League schools have made steady strides in recruiting, admitting and graduating Hispanic, African-American and other minority students over the last 10 years. But, according to a report issued in March by the Graduate Employees and Students Organization (GESO) at Yale University, a private group of unionized graduate teachers, researchers and graduate students, progress in hiring minority professors has been painfully slow and not keeping pace with the rising Latino and other minority populations.
