Not a Christmas has gone by in 53 years that Evangeline Moore has not been sad.
On Christmas night in 1951, a bomb exploded under the home of her parents, Harry and Harriette Moore, in Mims, FIa. The couple had spent the day celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. The explosion killed Harry, 46, and his wife, 50, who was critically injured in the blast, died nine days later.
"It was the greatest shock of my life," says Moore, 74, from her home in New Carrollton, Md. "My sister and I never got over it."
