CHARLESTON - The State Journal, West Virginia's leading business newspaper, has agreed to join West Virginia Media Holdings LLC - a new statewide media holdings company.
Lorenelle White, owner and publisher of The State Journal, will remain as publisher of the Charlestonbased newspaper. In addition, she will have a seat on the Executive Committee of West Virginia Media Holdings.
"This was the next logical step in the evolution of The State Journal," said White, who along with her husband, Bill, have owned the newspaper since April 1997.
