Africa is a place I plan to visit in the near future. I have heard so many wonderful things about it. I have met several people who were born and raised in Africa. One of them is my African dance teacher, Mama Kimosha and my brother's drum teacher, Ya Ya.
Ya Ya is from Senegal which is in West Africa. My family and I are planning a trip to Senegal next spring. In order to prepare for our trip, we have decided to read everything we can about Africa and to talk to as many people from Africa as we can.
I have read several books about Africa. One book I really enjoyed, talked about how African people use numbers. Another was about colors and what they mean in Africa.
