IT WILL BE A RED LETTER DAY for Britain's Iranian community on 6 November when The Keeper: the Legend of Omar Khayyam has its London premiere at The Vue Cinema in Leicester Square. The screening and charity auction to follow will be under the auspices of the Magic of Persia Foundation as part of a weekend of cultural activities organised in cooperation with the British Museum. The film enjoyed a gala 26 June premiere in Houston, Texas and was featured at the Moscow Film Festival. It is also being selectively screened across both the UK and the US as an independent production by Kayvan Mashayekh and Sep Riahi who are also handling distribution.
