You may have already received one of the form letters.
A parent writes to the superintendent or building principal and sends you, the teacher, a copy.
The letter says that the parent is exercising his/her rights under federal law, citing Title 20 of the U.S. Code section 1232h. The parent demands that "my child be involved in NO school activities or materials
including
curricula, textbooks, audio-visual materials, or supplementary assignments
involving the topics
listed below unless I have first reviewed all the relevant materials and have given my written consent for their use."
