Blocked e-mail

If you use e-mail regularly, it is guaranteed that a portion of the emails you send or receive will be blocked. This happens because of your IP address (Internet protocol address). Every node on the Internet has a unique numerical IP address. Each address contains a series of four sets of numbers with a maximum of three digits per set and with each set of numbers separated by a dot, e.g., 221.134.142.244.

The primary reason IP addresses are blocked is because of spam. The United Nations estimates the costs of dealing with spam amount to $25 billion per year. According to Richard Stockton, Webmaster at Adhost, only three to four percent of e-mails received at Adhost are valid. ...
