Visitors From South Asia Came in Record Numbers

ITMA ASIA 2005 ended on a high note in Singapore attracting record numbers of visitors from South Asia. Of a total of 30,000 persons visiting the five-day show, the largest numbers have come from South Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka), which is 55% greater than the previous exhibition held four years ago.

Fast seizing the opportunity, visitors from India led the pack from the first day, and registered an increase of over 70% in visitor number for the whole show from 2001.
