Phillips Petroleum has acquired seven Country Cuzzins convenience and gas stores and plan open three more retail sites alone the Wasatch Front this year.
Seller of the Country Cuzzins stores, which are located in Centerville, Ogden, Logan and Orem, was Bill Petersen. Terms were not disclosed.
All but one of the units was Phillips branded, according to Lon Nally, Phillips Petroleum regional manager, who said some refurbishment of the stores will take place, including a signage change to the Phillips 66 banner. All Phillips 66 units in Utah are supplied by the Phillips Petroleum refinery in Woods Cross, which produces 25,000 barrels of gas and diesel a day, he noted.
