The La Crosse area's economy will continue its steady growth in 2006, local leaders predict.

They took forward to completion of such projects as Logistics Health Inc.'s corporate center, the Three Rivers Plaza retailofficecondominium development along Copeland Avenue, a Menards superstore and La Crosse Technology's move to the former The Company Store distribution center on Losey Boulevard.

Concerns include the impact of higher energy costs and whether interest rates will continue to rise.
