EMI gospel recording artist Darwin Hobbs geared up for the release of his highly anticipated fourth solo album. Simply entitled, "Worshipper," the new project is Hobbs' first praise and worship album and the mere style and freshness of it, forces the listener to reckon with the fact that Hobbs is much more than the "Luther Vandross of gospel." From a classic, soul-stirring remake of Twila Paris' "He Is Exalted" to the funk of the Fred Jerkins produced "Let Him In;" Hobbs shows the varied colors of his vocal instrument.
