The city of Airway Heights is advertising for legal and technical assistance to design, build, and possibly operate a projected $28 million waste-water treatment plant to be completed in two phases by 2015.
Airway Heights, a 50-year-old city that's never had such a facility, currently pays the city of Spokane more than $750,000 a year to pipe its waste water to Spokane's treatment plant at 4401 N. Aubrey L. White Parkway and treat it.
