COLUMBUS - The army of shopping carts wheeling back and forth on Pike Avenue in Columbus likely raised a few eyebrows recently.
"It looked like the bag ladies had hit town," said Mary Kuehn, one of the people involved in the grocery cart brigade. "The carts served as mini moving vans to transport the contents of Project Hope from 416 E. Pike Ave. to its new digs at 428 E. Pike Ave.
Project Hope serves as' Stillwater County's thrift store, the proceeds from which go to help area families and individuals in need.
