ASSE RECENTLY SENT TWO POSITION PAPERS TO OSHA. THEY ADDRESS 1) THE AGENCY'S "POWERED INDUSTRIAL TRUCK OPERATOR TRAINING" PROPOSAL AND 2) THE AGENCY'S PROPOSAL TO DEVELOP A SAFETY AND HEALTH MANAGEMENT PROGRAM FOR THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY. BOTH STATEMENTS WERE DEVELOPED BY ASSE'S GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE AND SIGNED BY ASSE PRESIDENT LAWRENCE E. OLDENDORF.
