Empire State Development issued the following news release:
Empire State Development Chairman Charles A. Gargano announced today that Fisk Alloy Conductors, Inc, a manufacturer of specialized alloy conductors, plans to purchase and renovate a facility in Whitestown, which was formerly used by Strandflex and shuttered in 2005. The project is expected to create 30 new jobs over three years.
"Fisk's commitment to both the economy and environment of New York State is commendable," said Chairman Gargano. "The recognition of Fisk Alloys recognizes that New York State is the best place to do business, and this is a testimony to Governor Pataki's commitment to transfer our economy to new processes ...
