The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency issued the following news release:
Illinois Environmental Protection Agency Director Doug Scott is encouraging Illinois young people to apply for the annual Governor's Green Youth Awards. The Award recognizes outstanding environmental protection and conservation projects created by Illinois students. Students in kindergarten through 12th grade, enrolled in a public, private or home school, ages 17 or younger, who have participated in an environmental project, are eligible for the recognition. The project must involve one or more of the following categories: waste reduction; reduction or prevention of pollution in the air, water or land; ...
