At the invitation of Senator Bill Nelson and Florida Democratic Party Chair Karen Thurman, United States Senator Barack Obama will be the keynote speaker for the 2005 Florida Democratic Party Conference. Sen. Obama will speak to delegates at the conference's Saturday dinner event on Dec. 10.

"I am quite pleased that my colleague Sen. Barack Obama will join me to deliver our message about changing the way business is done in Tallahassee and Washington D.C. by putting the needs of Floridians first and offering a better deal for working families," said Sen. Nelson.
