The Black man has too frequently been portrayed as shiftless, unemployable, using or selling drugs, a drunkard, woman abuser, non-payer of child support, professional athlete who uses steroids, and is among the overwhelming percentage of those incarcerated.
However, this week's column is about the Black man that gets limited media coverage--the educated, articulate, ambitious, dedicated, concerned and gainfully employed.
The Black man in theory has arrived and generally earns a salary that most of us would give five years of our lives to earn, but these men tell me that if they were white that they would be earning at least double. I have held numerous conversations with several well ...
