Kolar water supply to be affected today

NEW DELHI, India, Nov 4 -- WATER SUPPLY from the Kolar Dam to Kolar Filtration Plant remained disrupted for about an hour as the Water Resource Department (WRD) began releasing water for irrigational purpose today. This is likely to affect water supply in the areas connected to the Kolar Supply System on Friday.

Sources said the WRD had stopped water supply to Kolar Filtration Plant for about an hour resulting in disruption in water supply to the City. This has irked Bhopal Municipal Corporation's (BMC) officials as they were expecting normal water supply on Id.
