REP. ROYBAL-ALLARD, FEDERAL HOME LOAN BANK OF SAN FRANCISCO ANNOUNCE $3.6 MILLION IN AFFORDABLE HOUSING GRANTS FOR DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES

Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard, D-Calif. (34th CD), issued the following press release:

Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) and the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco (FHLBank San Francisco) announced today that $3.6 million in Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grants were awarded in 2005 to help finance four downtown Los Angeles housing projects. Two of these Los Angeles County projects received their funding--$1.1 million--in the second round of the 2005 competition. The two newly awarded projects will create 401 affordable rental units for individuals and families earning less than 80% of the area median income.
