Gov. John Lynch, D-N.H., issued the following press release:
Gov. John Lynch today swore in Edward Burke of Keene as the presiding justice of the Keene District Court.
Burke recently had a private practice with the law firm of Bragdon and Berkson in Keene. He served as Cheshire County Attorney from 1997 to 2001.
"Edward Burke has extensive knowledge and experience in the different issues likely to come before the Keene District Court - from criminal law to family law to civil litigation.
