The U.S. Department of Justice's U.S. Attorney's office for the District of Columbia issued the following press release:
A local attorney, Shola Ayeni, has been sentenced to a 36-month prison term for his role in a conspiracy to defraud the Superior Court of the District of Columbia of more than $74,000, United States Attorney Kenneth L. Wainstein, and and Joseph Persichini, Jr., Acting Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI's Washington Field Office, announced today.
