DEMOCRATIC PARTY CHAIR KAHN ISSUES STATEMENT ON PASSING OF CORETTA SCOTT KING

Statement by Democratic Party of Georgia Chair Bobby Kahn on the passing of Coretta Scott King:

"Coretta Scott King was one of this nation's great advocates for civil rights, for human rights, for freedom, and for peace. She was a constant voice of progress for the United States and the world. She was a loving wife and mother who helped this great nation become even greater.

Coretta Scott King's passing is a great loss for the world and an especially great loss for the Georgia family. Our thoughts and prayers are with her many friends and family."
