Rep. Jo Ann S. Davis, R-Va. (1st CD), issued the following press release:
Rep. Jo Ann Davis today voted for legislation (H. Res. 648) that would eliminate House floor privileges for former Members of Congress who are now registered lobbyists. Current House rules allow former Members of Congress unrestricted access to the House floor. Under this legislation, which passed the House 379-50, this privilege will be eliminated for former Members who are now registered lobbyists.
