Article: QUEENS BOROUGH PRESIDENT MARSHALL TO PRESENT SCHOLARSHIPS, ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS AS PART OF AFRICAN AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH CELEBRATION

The Queens Borough President issued the following press release: Queens Borough President Helen Marshall will present each of six high school students with $1,000 scholarship awards and recognize the achievements of seven outstanding individuals from Queens as part of her African American Heritage Month celebration at the Langston Hughes Library and Cultural Center on Saturday, February 4th, at 1 p.m.

The library, where Marshall was the first director, is located at 100-01 Northern Boulevard in Corona.
