WASHINGTON, Nov. 18 -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office reviewed - and rejected - a federal bid protest from the Standard Communications Inc., Hume, Va., on Nov. 1, The decision was recently released.
GAO General Counsel Anthony H. Gamboa, in releasing the decision, said: "Standard Communications Inc. protests the award of a contract to dNovus RDI, San Antonio, under request for proposals no. FA4890-05-R-0156, issued by the Department of the Air Force as a total small business set-aside for Air Combat Command Information Technology Enterprise Operations at Langley Air Force Base, Va. SCI challenges the technical and price evaluations of its proposal and the adequacy of discussions. ...
