Idling Reduction Tax Credit Act Introduced by Rep. Granger

WASHINGTON, Feb. 7 -- Rep. Kay Granger, R-Texas, has introduced the Idling Reduction Tax Credit Act of 2006 (H.R. 4672), legislation that would "amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to allow a credit for the purchase of idling reduction systems for diesel-powered on-highway vehicles."

The bill, introduced on Jan. 31, was referred to the House Ways and Means Committee.
