CITY KICKS OFF NATIONAL CONSUMER PROTECTION WEEK IN D.C.

The office of the Washington, D.C., Mayor issued the following news release:

District officials today kicked off National Consumer Protection week, which runs from February 6 through 10.

Through their joint outreach effort, officials at the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs and the Office of the Attorney General will focus on educating and empowering DC consumers in the fight against fraud. The District's Consumer Protection Week theme is Common Sense = Consumer Sense.
