In recognition of Catholic Schools Week and of the hundreds of thousands of students, teachers, and parents who help Catholic Schools succeed, the House of Representatives today adopted House Resolution 657, honoring the contributions of Catholic schools.
"The commonwealth of Pennsylvania was founded on the principles of charity, freedom and toleration for people of diverse beliefs and backgrounds," said Congressman Tim Murphy (PA-18), a product of Catholic schools and cosponsor of the resolution.
