Herbal ice

Whether you grow your own herbs or buy them, here is a fun way to save fresh herbs for later use. (Ask an adult to do the chopping for you.)

You Will Need:

Your favorite herb, rinsed and chopped

Ice cube tray

Water

Large plastic freezer bag

Pen

Directions:

1. Wash your hands. Fill the wells of the ice cube tray half full with a chopped herb.

2. Finish by filling the tray with water and placing it in the freezer.

3. Label the freezer bag with the name of the herb and the date.
