Article: NEW STURGEON BAY BRIDGE MILESTONE ACHIEVED

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation issued the following news release:

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) announced today that the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has issued a Finding of No Significant Impact or "FONSI" (pronounced FON ZEE) regarding WisDOT's plans to build a new bridge on the Maple to Oregon corridor in the city of Sturgeon Bay.

According to WisDOT NE Regional Director Mike Berg, this finding is critical to the bridge project. "We are on a tight timeframe and this is a critical step in the process. I congratulate everyone who contributed to this milestone."
