GOV. RELL NOMINATES TWO TO STATE APPELLATE COURT

Gov. M. Jodi Rell, R-Conn., issued the following press release:

Gov. M. Jodi Rell announced today that she would nominate two Connecticut Superior Court judges to the Appellate Court - Chase T. Rogers of New Canaan and Douglas S. Lavine of West Hartford.

Rogers and Lavine, whose nominations must be confirmed by the General Assembly, would succeed Judges Anne C. Dranginis and Joseph H. Pellegrino who are retiring from the 10-member Appellate Court at the end of this month.
