The city of Fresno issued the following news release:

The City of Fresno has set a new standard for customer service with the launch of the City's One Call Center, providing residents with one direct connection for information throughout the City.

Effective today, February 1, 2006, residents can call one single phone number, 621 CITY (2489), to report an issue or get information on any department or service within the City of Fresno. Residents can report or receive information quickly and easily by calling the City of Fresno's One Call Center where trained customer service representatives will direct their call to the appropriate department.
