WYOMING ARTS COUNCIL APPOINTS ANNE F. HATCH AS FOLK AND TRADITIONAL ARTS SPECIALIST

The Wyoming Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources has issued the following news release:

Anne F. Hatch, a folklife program associate for the State of Nevada, has been appointed folk and traditional arts specialist by the Wyoming Arts Council and is charged with building a new Folk Arts Program in the Cowboy State.

In building the new Folk Arts Program, Hatch will design and produce statewide programs and projects that protect, preserve, document and promote the traditional arts of Wyoming.

She will specialize in creating resources and support for artists working in artistic traditions of their cultural communities and are taught through word-of-mouth and informal instruction ...
