Article: CHASE ENDS AFTER TRUCK PLUNGES INTO RIVER

The Maryland State Police issued the following news release:

A man wanted by New Jersey authorities for stealing a delivery truck in a local township early this morning, injuring an officer and ramming a police cruiser in Delaware, and leading officers on a three-state pursuit, was killed when he drove the vehicle from a Cecil County boat pier into the Susquehanna River.

The suspect is identified as Kevin L. Biggs, 38, of the 2000-block of Bacharact Boulevard, Atlantic City, New Jersey. He was pronounced dead at the scene by a forensic examiner. His body was taken to the Office of the State Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy.
