Article: London resto-bar plays host to contemporary Indian art exhibition

London, Feb. 24 -- A new art exhibition held in Britain recently featured the best in contemporary Indian art.

What made this particular show unique was that it was being held in one of London's most fashionable Indian restaurants, the Quilon Restaurant and Bar.

So, people visited the venue and had a feast in more ways than one.

The exhibition, which was called a "Feast of Contemporary Indian Art", had items on show that were selected from a collection at the Gallery Sumukha in Bangalore. That gallery was set up in 1996 and is dedicated to promoting awareness of Indian contemporary art through a cross-section of media, both within and without India.
