The city of Tempe issued the following news release:

The media is invited to see the installation of the 12-foot-tall, red "A" logo on top of Tempe Diablo Stadium on Tuesday, Feb. 28. The letter serves as the symbol for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, who conduct spring training at Diablo.

A crane will position the giant letter over the stadium's new grand staircase at 9 a.m. The logo is being installed during the annual Cactus League Breakfast, a spring training kickoff event attended by ...
