CEREMONY NAMES NEW BRITAIN STATE OFFICE BUILDING AFTER JOSEPH H. HARPER, JR.

The Connecticut Department of Public Safety issued the following news release:

Gov. M. Jodi Rell and the Connecticut Department of Public Works today hosted a dedication ceremony naming the state office building at Ten Franklin Square in New Britain the Joseph H. Harper, Jr. Building. New Britain native Joseph H. Harper, Jr., is known for his nearly 27 years of government service including five years at the municipal level, 16 as a state legislator, two as Assistant State Treasurer, and three and one-half as a vice president at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain.
