Washington, Feb. 26 -- Actor Tom Cruise's conspiracy theorists will be disappointed as it appears the mega-star had nothing to do with fiancee Katie Holmes's sex scene being removed from her upcoming film, "Thank You For Smoking".

Director Jason Reitman has reportedly solved the mystery of the actress' raunchy scene, insisting that a young production assistant had misplaced the saucy footage.
