Base leadership at Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi has directed all Status-Of-Forces-Agreement (SOFA) personnel to do what they can to ensure personal behavior in the local community reflects the highest standards of conduct.

According to NAF Atsugi Commanding Officer Capt. Justin D. Cooper II, region-wide, liberty behavior has become a major issue in recent months, with a number of incidents from violent crime to vehicle mishaps being committed by individuals making poor choices.
