New Delhi, March 2 -- Overseas Indian Affairs Minister Vayalar Ravi told Parliament on Thursday that several complaints had been received against illegal recruiting agencies from various quarters, including Indian Missions in the Gulf countries.
He said that the Government is aware of the hardships faced by workers abroad, particularly in the Gulf countries.
he confirmed that Indian Missions and posts abroad take up complaints against the foreign employers with the relevant local authorities/foreign sponsors with a view to solve the problems of workers including improvement in their working conditions, expediting the process of law and obtaining due justice.
