The Bergen County Executive issued the following press release:
Bergen County Executive Dennis McNerney has announced that the Bergen County Agriculture Development Board is seeking applications from farmers who wish to participate in the New Jersey Farmland Preservation Program. The deadline to submit a completed application to the BCADB for consideration in the next funding round is Friday, May 5, 2006.
The purpose of the Bergen CADB is to maintain and strengthen the growth of agricultural production and the preservation of our remaining farmlands in Bergen County. Through local, county and state cooperation, farmland preservation ensures the protection of agricultural land by offering ...
